Abstract: Rural governance structure develops and transforms with the state’s political and economic demands. The paper discusses the logic of transformation among town politics, village governance and patriarchal clan functions in the last hundred years. Starting from analyzing the traditional small farmer agriculture, it makes a relative analysis on intrinsic and extensive elements of governance structure changes and proposes 4 viewpoints on strengthening efficiency of the rural governance in modern times
