Abstract: In recent years, the mechanism and system of public services and its innovation has become a hot topic. This paper reviews the research progress of the mechanism and system of public services at home and abroad. The authors consider that the research field has accumulated abundant theoretical bases and practical experiences and formed systematical research achievements, and many scholars have depicted possibilities prospects of mechanism and system of public services innovation and cooperation frame extension from different research fields and perspectives. However, the domestic researches still have many shortcomings, for example, the relative basic concepts of mechanism and system of public services are not clear; scholars have not definitely unified recognition on the target frame of new mechanism and system of public services; the purely theoretical discussions are much more than that combined with practical researches; interdisciplinary and multidimensional perspective searches are poor; etc, which need to be perfected and extended in the future research.
