Abstract:
The New College English Curriculum Requirements provides not only a good chance for the development of literary courses, but also a great challenge to the traditional pedagogical patterns widely employed in literary courses. Questionnaires were conducted since 2006 aiming at analyzing students’ feedback on the literature selective courses offered in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and the results of the questionnaires are interpreted in this paper to increase teachers’ awareness of students’ learning needs. Accordingly, some suggestions on program development of literature selective courses in EFL are provided
