Abstract:
Based on the Max’s moral development theories, this paper uses Kohlberg’s Moral Development Model as well as DIT2 and MJT to carry on empirical researches in 4 universities in Chengdu, hoping to verify the utility of Kohlberg’s theories in Chinese universities. Research results show that the moral development levels of 4 universities in Chengdu are optimistic, and the moral recognition level of university students is highly consistent with their moral judgement abilities, which also has different relatives with their family factors. Therefore, university teachers’ moral quality should be enhanced and more attentions should be paid to the moral education environment in order to promote the university students’ moral development level.
