Abstract: In this paper, we compare the two main treatment methods of post-traumatic stress disorder, which are narrative exposure therapy and prolonged exposure therapy. Among these comparisons, we discuss their commons and differences in the theoretical foundations, learning and fear conditions, and narrative and treatment components. Based on the comparisons, the main problems are analyzed and discussed and the future research direction is prospected.
