Abstract: The new media has the functions of communication dialogue, agenda setting, and mainstream guide, which have very rich education values. Using new media, college socialist core values education should pay attention to the incorporation of the education target, education content, and education form. By taking the advantages of new media, integrating new media resources, optimizing the environment of new media, and other methods, we can promote college students' socialist core values and enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of education.
