基于QS和ARWU排名体系的我国工科大学与世界一流大学的差距分析

Analysis on the Gap Between Chinese Technological Universities and the World First-Class Universities Based on the QS and ARWU Ranking System

  • 摘要: 通过分析我国工科大学的发展现状,采用基于类平均的聚类分析算法,分别对QS和ARWU中的大学进行聚类分析,并划分出我国工科大学所在的类,进一步比较发现我国工科大学在学术评价、雇主评价、师均引用率、师生比和国际学生比例、PUB(被科学引文索引和社会科学引文索引收录的论文数)、N & S(在《自然》和《科学》上发表论文的折合数)、HiCi(各学科领域被引用次数最高的科学家数)和PCP(上述五项指标得分的平均值)上,与世界一流大学相比存在的差距,指出了我国工科大学的建设方向。

     

    Abstract: Through the analysis of the current development of Chinese technological universities, we focus on the universities ranked in QS and ARWU respectively by clustering algorithm based on the cluster analysis and divide their class, further find out the gap between Chinese technological universities and the world first-class universities from aspects namely academic evaluation, employer evaluation, citations per faculty, student-to-faculty ratio, international student ratio, PUB (papers indexed in major citation indices), N&S (Nature and Science), HiCi (highly cited researchers) and PCP (per capita academic performance), fianlly point out the construction direction of Chinese technological universities.
