Abstract: Colleges and universities are the main positions of the socialist ideological education, and the ideological education in colleges and universities is an important part of the national ideological work. With the rapid development of the media, the ideological education in colleges and universities has been caught in a dilemma in the aspects of educational subject, educational content, educational methods, and educational ideas. In order to get out of the predicament, the ideological education in colleges and universities must be guided by the core values of socialism, actively innovate the content of education, renew the idea of education, broaden the channels of education, and so on.
