Abstract: Confidence in democratic politics of socialism with Chinese characteristics refers to confidence in the way of development, the system and the theory of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics. The confidence comes from the profound understanding of democracy and socialism and the internal connection of capitalist democracy, the scientific comparison between the capitalist democracy and socialist democracy, and achievements in the development of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics. At present, we need to build a democratic political discourse system in theory, draw the Chinese characteristics of socialist democracy and capitalist democracy boundaries in the thought, and deepen the reform of the political system to further strengthen the confidence in socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics.
