Abstract: The War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea was a just war of self-defense that was forced with the United States by China after establishment of New China, which had a major impact on Chinese politics, military, economic, diplomatic, national unity and the world strategic situation. America created the Taiwan Issue by Korean War, so that the New China lost the valuable opportunity of resolving the Taiwan issue and realizing complete reunification of the motherland. After that, the Taiwan issue became an extremely sensitive core problem in the normalization of relation between China and America. After the victory of The War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Chinese government had gradually changed the guidelines and policies towards Taiwan.
