Abstract:
As an emerging cultural communication medium, digital games have played a significant role in promoting the international communication of fine traditional Chinese culture and enhancing national cultural confidence. This article takes the game Black Myth: Wukong as an example to explore the symbolic representation mode and the practical approach of promoting the international communication of fine traditional Chinese culture in the game. The research finds that Black Myth: Wukong uses the technical, interactive and social characteristics of the game media to create a game cultural space with Chinese aesthetic style and Chinese philosophical thoughts, and provides players with an immersive cultural experience. Through in-depth exploration of cultural IP, code translation and breakage circle, Black Myth: Wukong provides a useful reference for the subsequent international communication of game-based culture.
