Abstract: The development of economy and society has its particularity and the time historicity in the countryside region, and it has the special mission and the dynamic significance to the appraisal of countryside regional competitiveness. Through the designing and the principle discussion of the indicator system in countryside regional competitiveness appraisal, we designed 17 appraisal indicators, took Henan province as an example to make an empirical analysis, and found the indicator system playing an important role. These provided the reference to the provincial study and the government policy formulation.
