Abstract: Mt. E-mei is a famous Taoist mountain in the early years, and known as the seventh cave paradise.The story of Pu Gong was fabricated in Song Dynasty. E-mei Buddhism was originated in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.The Senior Monk Hui Chi constructed the first temple of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra. Buddhism and Taoism coexist in Mt. E-mei for a long period. Mt. E-mei evolved into a famous Buddhist mountain after the Ming and Qing Dynasty.
