Abstract: As one kind of special region literature concepts, Taiwan new literature has deep and rich connotation. It was not only a part of the 20th century China literatures, but also an important constitution of the Chinese nation literature, which plays a vital role in Chinese literature extension and development. After near 30-year research done by mainland scholars, although they have obtained some research achievements, however, due to the limitation of some objective factors, Taiwan new literature leaves researchers more academic anticipations after integrating mainland scholars’ modern history of literature writing
