Abstract: “Filial piety” is one of the moral concepts and behavior standards which the Chinese people regard specially. In history, although filial piety was once alienated seriously by ruling class and totally denied, in the modern society, its positive function and reasonable value cannot be substituted for. To inherit the fine traditions, to constructa spiritual home and to promote our society harmonious, we should integrate filial piety in the socialism core value system. Thus, we can enable the socialism core value system to have more affinity and more national characteristics.
