Abstract: At present, the researches on the political socialization of college students are carried out in the range of whole college students. There were not researches of the political socialization which involved the different categories of students. Based on the long-term ideological and political education in science and engineering college, the author analyzes the characteristics of science and engineering students in the professional background, ways of thinking and employment, and then summarizes the personalized factors which impact the political socialization of science and engineering students. Finally, the author proposes suggestion that the sciences and engineering students should bread through the constraints of engineering thinking and improve their political quality, the universities should effectively organize the political theory teaching, and governments should strengthen the construction of the manstream ideologyancl socide morclity, in orcler to promote the political socialization of our country’s university students of science and engineering.
