Abstract: Based on the panel data of provinces, this paper researches the influence of natural resource abundance on economic growth of different regions and way of escaping from curse of resource. The research showes that there is apparent difference of influence of natural resource abundance on economic growth, in which the influence of middle and west is more apparent, while not for the east. Also through comparing threshold level of different factors in eliminating curse of resource, it shows that the opening-up policy can effectively release the curse of resource, while human capital and R&D show no significant effect on it.
