Abstract: Based on Beck’s Society Theories of Risk, this paper expounds the characteristics of present social risk and considers it as the most import character in modern society. Risk is a procedure of society construction as well as the output of society, politics and culture. Due to the complexity and flexibility of causes its causes, the modern risk appears uncertain, which will lead to a status of knowledge vacancy of risk information. In the society management of risk, information communication should be strengthened to resist the risk. Because of the characteristics of the social risk in our country, it will bring a big challenge to the society management of our country’s modern risk.
