Abstract: The development of post-industrial society and emerge of social risk bring significant affections on sex roles and family structures. The influence of feminism asks for a new survey on present welfare policies. This paper analyzes the challenges that Chinese welfare policies are confronted with under the social risk background, which are mainly embodied in two aspects, one is the equality in employment and the other is the affection on family structures. European countries take active actions and responses to this problem, which is of significance for the transformation of Chinese social welfare.
