Abstract: As a famous poet of Song Dynasty, Lin Ziren concluded Su Shi’s technique and rule of using literary quotation in his poem annotation, therefore, he constructed a complete classified system of literary quotation. On the other hand, Lin Ziren summarized Su Shi’s composing technique. Lin Ziren quoted plenty of authentic datums, brought forth the politics backdrop of Su Shi’s poems, opened out the causation of Su Shi’s poems, so that made clear the whole poem’s meaning, incidentally, he explain the meaning of some pivotal sentence. Furthermore, Lin Ziren corrected the old annotation of Su Shi’s poems created by Zhao Cigong and Li Hou.
