Abstract: Affected by the new network technologies and services，OPAC is on the edge of transformation．Aiming at the weakness of OPAC，this paper introduces the functions of the new generation OPAC，which calls Wpopac．Under the framework of WordPress，it analyses the solutions and constructive suggestion from Wpopac，and also advises that the OPAC system can only gradually absorb some functions of BLOG such as discussion，comments and SO on，but OPAC Can’t be replaced by BLOG．
