Abstract:
Many domestic and foreign areas have ever suffered from serious earthquakes. In the process of post-disaster reconstruction in these areas, some of the practices are worth to be learned by China. In this paper,we select the Kobe Earthquake in Japan and the “9·21”Earthquake in Taiwan as examples, then sum up some of the experiences and lessons from their post-disaster reconstruction process. By Learning these experiences and lessons and combining them with some specific circumstances of the Wenchuan Earthquake, we put forward some policy-based recommendations for the work of post-disaster reconstruction.
