Development of Europe Integration Theories and the Transformation in States’ Role

The integration of Europe is an unexperienced story in human history. For the members of Europe Union, the force to Eurpoeization is contributed from bottom to top by individual countries and it turns around to influence after agglomerated. The boundary between countries is formally, but the highly integration is irreversible. For other countries beyond it, EU is a paradigm for advanced regional integration. The traditional role of states is changing and how EU and states to work together is a thinkable question. This article will organize theory frameworks, including neo-functionalism, intergovernmentalism, historic institutionalism, and multi-level governance, to express the tool for European integration.
