Review and Trend Prediction of Researches on Maternal and Child Health Services in China from 1995 to 2017—Research Based on Bibliometrics

  • Good maternal and child health status is an important condition for the sustainable and stable development of society. The provision of maternal and child health related services in China has always been the focus of the party and the government. Through the bibliometric method and the visualization tool to analyze the current situation and research hotspots of the research on maternal and child health services in China from 1995 to 2017, it is found that the current research on maternal and child health services in China mainly focuses on the empirical research of specific problems and despise the top design. Researchers have focused on reducing survival indicators such as mortality and ignoring other predictive and developmental indicators. Research on urban-rural and regional differences needs to be strengthened, and there is a lack of further international comparative research and interdisciplinary research. Therefore, in addition to the research on the above aspects of maternal and child health care services in China, the special groups and the maternal and infant health care under the " two-child” policy cannot be ignored.
