A Study on the Status Quo of the Unity of Indoctrination and Inspiration of “Ideological Morality and Rule of Law”

  • Purpose/Significance This paper conducts an empirical study on the unity of indoctrination and inspiration in ideological morality and rule of law. Design/Methodology Taking the teaching of “ideological morality and rule of law” as the object, this paper adopts naturalistic observation, questionnaire survey, in-depth interview and other methods to study the current teaching status quo of “ideological morality and rule of law”. Compare the “ideal type” with the reality teaching phenomenon, we are supposed to grasp the actual situation of indoctrination and inspiration in the teaching process of “ideological morality and rule of law” course. Conclusions/Findings The empirical analysis shows that there is still a great distance between the realistic teaching and the ideal teaching of “ideological morality and rule of law” course, centering on the unity of indoctrination and inspiration. The teaching of “ideological morality and rule of law” course presents the following characteristics: more theoretical indoctrination, less inspiration and guidance; more lectures and less student participation; too much transmission of knowledge and too little exchange of ideas.
